This blog is moved to http://cssquestions.wordpress.com

My friends complain that it's so hard to comment on this blog ('cause of logging requirement or something else ? ).

But, anyway, I've moved the blog content to cssquestionS.wordpress.com.

Maybe I'll still write some articles here for SEO, but you'd better read my new blog.

Let's go :D

What is must-have-component of a xHTML website?

Now we compare building the website as building a house.

For a house, we first make the strong background, and then add the wall, and then the door, window, and other components. We know that the must-have-component of a house is its background.

Comparison to a website, we first make a "strong background", and then some contents, and then some "div", and then some CSS to describe the content "appearance".

And the question here is "WHAT IS MUST-HAVE-COMPONENT" of a xHTML file? What we always have to build first?

Is this blog a "big fat joke" ?

Somebody wants to learn CSS and they are here. But they cannot see something like "tutorials" here? Why? Because there are so many things like that in Internet (you can search in Google, del.icio.us ...)

So what does this blog mean? We first know who you are, where you are, and then define what you need to learn. We give you challenge questions, and you will search thoroughly the Internet to answer and do your task to sharpen you skill.

Tell me where you are?

Just Kidding! it's, of course, not tell me where are u living now :D, but tell me what you know about CSS and why you learn CSS.

And better give me a pair of : xHTML & CSS file that you have made (if you can). Ok? it'd better for us if we know where we are.

For fair, I'll tell you "where I am", but you first, "lady first"!!!

Now we go!

To know EXACTLY "where you are" , please go to:
http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_quiz.asp => To know your "HTML location"
http://www.w3schools.com/xhtml/xhtml_quiz.asp => To know your "xHTML location"
http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_quiz.asp => To know your "CSS location"

Ok? do the quiz and tell me your score.

Welcome to the world of CSS

When Trang, a origin-printing designer, asked me how to become a web designer, I advised her to learn CSS. Now CSS is a hot word in the world of Internet. (Have you ever visited del.icio.us?).

What is the hardest thing you face when you want to learn something hot? It's NOT the LACK of information but the TOO-TOO-TOO MUCH information, 'cause so many people talk/write about it. And you need a way to go!!! You need a way to follow?

And I am here, not to be a leader who lead you, not to be the trainer or the teacher, BUT to be a friend who go with you and EXPLoRe the way to MasTer CSS.

Day by day, we face to questions and face to things we have to solve. Try it, things is under your hand and under you subconscience .
